Aduda empowers 1, 200 women, youths
Senator Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), yesterday, empowered 1,200 women and youths in Kwali and Abaji area councils. Aduda, who was represented by his senior legislative aide, Alhaji Ali Danjuma Kawu, while declaring the one-day empowerment programme open at Kwali town hall, said he decided to collaborate with the Small and Medium Enterprises Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to train the women and youths in various trades. ADVERTISEMENT He said the women and youths who were to benefit from the grant were those into various kinds of handworks and trades such as carpentry, tailoring, soap making, tie/dye and home detergents.
